Make your own photo calendar
Seven short steps from an empty page to a printed calendar on the wall. Nothing to install, and you can see the finished month before you download anything.
-
Select a calendar template
Start on the templates page and pick the layout that is closest to what you want. You can switch templates later without losing your photos or events.
-
Set the calendar options
Choose the month, week or year, the language for the month and weekday names, the accent colour and typeface, and whether the week starts on Monday or Sunday.
-
Add your events
Birthdays, anniversaries, school holidays: enter a date and a short label and it appears on the right day. Public holidays for nine countries can be filled in automatically.
-
Prepare your photos
JPG, PNG or WebP photos up to 20 MB work; at least 2000 pixels on the long edge print best. For the 12-month calendar, sort them by month first — you can drop a whole folder in at once.
-
Crop and position
Each photo is cropped to the photo area of the template. Drag the image to decide which part stays visible; the preview updates as you move it.
-
Upload and preview
Work through the months and check the preview. Nothing is final until you download, so this is the moment to swap a photo or change the accent colour.
-
Download your PDF and print
Download a print-ready A4 PDF at full size. Print it at home on heavier paper or send the file to a copy shop — fonts and images are embedded, so nothing shifts.
Common questions
Do I need an account to make a calendar?
No. Pick a template, add your photos, preview and download - all without signing up. Your work is kept in your browser; a free account moves it into My Calendars on every device.
My PDF will not download. What can I do?
Most failed downloads come from a blocked pop-up or a very large photo. Allow downloads for app.picallycalendar.com in your browser and try again with JPG, PNG or WebP images under 20 MB. If it still fails, send us the month you were working on and the browser you use.
Which paper size do the PDFs use?
Every sheet is exported as an A4 PDF at full size, in portrait or landscape depending on the design. On US Letter paper, choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog.
Can I print at a print shop?
Yes. The exported PDF has embedded fonts and full-resolution images, so any copy shop or online printing service can work with it directly.
How do I add my own events and birthdays?
Open "Events" in the builder, add a date and a short label, and it appears on the right day in every sheet you export. Public holidays for nine countries can be switched on as well.
